Today is officially two weeks before the start of the World Cup. Although there has been some bed rap about the ball designed here, Adidas is still the champion of the world..er the FIFA world anyway..kind of like Google and the Internet. Oh well-- it's pretty interesting and cool to be able to say I am friends with the designer of the world cup ball!! I wonder how to get my hands on one... ;)

Tonight I am going with the girls from STI to see Sex and the City 2 at the small cinema in Lufbra. Unlike our movie theater filled with dark corners and video games, this one has a grand staircase and mirrors and gold plated accessories on the wall! So classy! What was even better was that because it was SATC2, all the girls there were dressed in dresses and heels (for the most part)..I felt like I was in an Audrey Hepburn movie! Here's a pretty bad picture I took of the cinema (I decided not to post it b/c it didnt do the town justice!).. and some of the city I took before we went in!

Note the ton is usually a lot busier..this was at 8pm on a Friday night...just wait till 9 or 10 :)
